ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE
The Four Season community has been designed to pay homage to the Coastal Carolina Style of architecture, which includes the Old Nags Head and related Federal Lifesaving Station Style.  In addition, the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) is interested in the broader Coastal Carolina architecture, to include what is commonly referred to as Low Country Style.  The American Arts and Crafts Style of Shingle Houses from the early 1900's is of interest as well.

The Four Seasons in Duck Property Owners Association, Inc. has appointed an Architectural Control Committee empowered by Article Four of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, to review all construction, reconstruction/modification and/or landscape plans.  This includes house repainting, even if the same color.  Certain requirements are to be m
et prior to construction or modification of any property within the community.

No exterior modifications, changes, additions, renovations, etc. to the home or property may be done without prior committee approval.  Architectural standards information can be found in both the Declaration of Covenants and in the Architectural Guidelines.  These documents can also be accessed on the Documents tab.

ACC forms should be completed and submitted to Seaside Management with all necessary fees, color and material
samples, plans, etc. which will be forwarded to the committee for review.  No work should begin until committee approval is received.
